Your Life Matters!

“Take things as they are. Punch when you have to punch. Kick when you have to kick” – Bruce Lee

There are many reasons to learn self-defense. It’s a skill that can save your life, help you stay safe, and protect others, as well as your property. Fitness can improve your ability to defend yourself in a variety of ways. The most obvious benefit is physical strength, but fitness also improves mental strength, endurance, agility, and balance.  So why not get started today to learn self-defense and get a workout too with Jack Hames.  Jack is a National Karate Association Karate/Kickboxing Fitness certified instructor and has been teaching martial arts for 25-plus years.  This class will aid students in developing rudimentary skills in self-defense and especially for health care workers and activity directors. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate basic self-defense techniques of a physical and non-physical nature. All levels of fitness are welcome to participate in this class.
NOTE: Special Guest appearances by Kevin Schroder, Pro MMA Fighter. Wear comfortable clothes to work out in, bring bottled water and wear shoes that you can kick with in class.  This is a great way to get your cardio and muscle exercises all at the same time, while learning about self-defense too.
