DIY: Handmade Fabric Bowl

DIY: Handmade Fabric Bowl

Get ready to stitch, wrap, and zig zag your way into a world of creativity. In this hands on class, you’ll learn how to turn simple cotton clothesline and vibrant fabric strips into beautiful, sturdy rope bowls and baskets. Using a sewing machine, you’ll explore the magic of zig zag stitching as your round coil transforms into a colorful, one of a kind creation. The first session is all about learning the ropes—literally—with a full demonstration and guided instruction. Then the fun really begins. During sessions two and three, you’ll dive into making three charming mini projects, each one showing off your personal style.

NOTE:  These sessions require a basic knowledge of sewing and students will need to provide their own sewing machine and drop cord. Each student will purchase a kit of materials for $5.00 from the instructor on the first night of class. Please bring cash.
