The Plumbing Level I course is an introduction to the Plumbing Profession, Plumbing Safety, Tools of the Plumbing Trade, Introduction to Plumbing Math, Introduction to Plumbing Drawings, Plastic Pipe and Fittings, Copper Pipe and Fittings, Cast-Iron Pipe and Fittings, Carbon Steel Pipe and Fittings, Introduction to Plumbing Fixtures, Introduction to Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) Systems, and Introduction to Water Distribution Systems. The course is designed specially to meet the subject requirements and standards established by the Department of Labor: Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for plumbers.
This course uses the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) training format and provides students who successfully complete with the NCCER Plumbing Level I Certification.
NOTES: In case of inclement weather, please check our official website for the latest updates. Course includes OSHA 10 hour training. OSHA 10 training is held on two Saturdays (dates TBD) from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM with 1 hour lunch break.
Instructor may have additional books, tools and safety requirements list presented on the first night of class. Closed toed shoes are required. Person Protection Equipment (PPE) is provided.
